Quadrantids Meteor Shower 2019
Quadrantids Meteor Shower 2019 is active during the end of December into the second week of January, and usually peaks around January 3-4. What makes the Quadrantids Meteor shower different than others is the peak period of the Quadrantids only lasts a few hours whereas most other showers peak will last a couple of days. The Meteor shower owes its name to the once know Quadrans Muralis constellation but is also sometimes called Bootids (Boötes ) after the modern name for this same region. The Quadrantids are related with asteroid 2003 EH which takes about 5.5 years to orbit around the Sun.
