Penumbral Lunar Eclipse 2020 will be visible on November 29th worldwide except Africa, Europe, and far western Asia.
A penumbral lunar eclipse 2020 will occur when the Earth’s shadow or umbra misses the Moon during a lunar eclipse, lunar eclipses can only occur the night of a full moon. The type and length of an eclipse depend upon the Moon’s location relative to the Sun and Earth. Unlike solar eclipses, lunar eclipses are safe to view without any eye protection or special precautions, as they are dimmer than the full moon.
It would be a good idea to bring a decent pair of binoculars or a small telescope to help see the shadowed part of the Moon which is only a little bit fainter than the rest of the Moon.
Lunar eclipses look approximately the same all over the world and happen at the same time.
Lunar eclipses can be visible from everywhere on the night side of the Earth, if the sky is clear. From some places the entire eclipse will be visible, while in other areas the Moon will rise or set during the eclipse.
